1. Services Offered
Kartel Tech provides technology-related services including but not limited to website design and hosting, system and mobile app development, ICT consultancy, software installation, hardware sales, networking, digital marketing, printing and branding, data recovery, and general IT support.
All services are provided based on agreed scope, timelines, and pricing communicated before work begins.
2. Pricing and Payments
- All prices are quoted in Uganda Shillings (UGX) unless stated otherwise.
- Payments may be required upfront, in milestones, or upon completion depending on the service.
- Invoices are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
- Work may be paused or withheld if payments are delayed beyond agreed timelines.
3. Scope of Work and Revisions
Services are delivered according to the agreed scope. Requests outside the agreed scope may attract additional charges.
Reasonable revisions are allowed as specified in the service agreement or proposal. Major changes after approval may require a new quotation.
4. Client Responsibilities
- Clients must provide accurate information, content, access credentials, and approvals on time.
- Delays caused by missing content or feedback may affect delivery timelines.
- Kartel Tech is not responsible for issues caused by incorrect or incomplete client information.
5. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, ownership of delivered work transfers to the client unless otherwise stated.
Kartel Tech reserves the right to showcase completed projects in portfolios or marketing materials unless the client requests confidentiality in writing.
6. Hosting, Domains, and Third Party Services
Hosting, domain registration, email services, and payment gateways provided through third parties are subject to their own terms.
Kartel Tech is not liable for downtime, suspensions, or losses caused by third party providers. Renewal of domains and hosting is the client’s responsibility unless covered under a maintenance plan.
7. Maintenance and Support
Ongoing support or updates are only provided if included in the agreed package or under a support contract. Emergency or out-of-scope support may be billed separately.
8. Refund Policy
Payments made for services already delivered or work in progress are non-refundable.
Refunds, if applicable, are assessed on a case-by-case basis and depend on the stage of work completed.
9. Limitation of Liability
Kartel Tech shall not be held liable for indirect losses, data loss, business interruption, or damages resulting from the use or inability to use delivered services, except where required by law.
10. Confidentiality
All client data and project information is treated as confidential and will not be shared without consent, except where required by law.
11. Termination
Kartel Tech reserves the right to terminate services if:
- There is misuse of services.
- Non-payment persists.
- The client engages in unlawful activities using provided services.
Outstanding balances remain payable upon termination.
12. Changes to Terms
Kartel Tech may update these terms at any time. Continued use of services implies acceptance of the latest version.
