Bantu Inter-Services

This NGO website design was built for Bantu Inter-Services, a development consulting firm based in Mbarara City. Bantu had thirteen years of work behind it and no public place to show any of it. Donors and partners were being asked to take the track record on trust, so the whole site is arranged to remove that problem.

Evidence before description

Most consulting sites open with a mission statement. This one opens with numbers instead. Visitors immediately see 3,275 young people skilled since 2021, seventeen skilling centres, and the fact that 54 percent of trainees are young women. Furthermore, a full year by year table breaks that figure down, because a donor who cannot verify a claim will usually discount it.

An NGO website design built for procurement

Programme officers arrive with specific questions. Who has this firm worked with? Are the certificates recognised? Can they design a programme from scratch? Therefore the six service areas, the named past clients and the delivery methodology each get their own section, written so a reader can scan rather than wade. The FAQ answers the procurement questions directly, including where Bantu works and which board certifies its graduates.

Two delivery tracks, told as two stories

Bantu trains in two ways: community based centres and residential farm attachments. Because these serve different young people for different reasons, the site presents them side by side instead of merging them into one list. As a result, a partner can tell at a glance which track suits the group they are trying to reach.
